LSB approves ILEX Professional Standards rule changes

Schedule 4 of the Legal Services Act 2007 provides that Approved Regulators must obtain approval from the LSB to alter any of their Regulatory Arrangements. The Legal Services Board has approved an application from ILEX Professional Standards Ltd:

Application made by ILEX Professional Standards Ltd to the Legal Services Board under Part 3 of Schedule 4 of the Legal Services Act for the approval of changes to regulatory arrangements relating to ILEX Professional Standards Rights of Audience Certification Rules. The changes are to allow members who are managers in legal practices to qualify as Legal Executive Advocates. The changes will also allow those already qualified a Legal Executive Advocates to continue to exercise rights of audience if they become a manager in a legal practice.
