LSB approves CLC rule changes

23 March 2011

Schedule 4 of the Legal Services Act 2007 provides that Approved Regulators must obtain approval from the LSB to alter any of their Regulatory Arrangements. The Legal Services Board has approved an application from the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) to the Legal Services Board under Part 3 of Schedule 4 of the Legal Services Act. It is for the approval of the regulatory arrangements relating to the Adjudication Panel Rules of the CLC. The rules delegate the disciplinary jurisdiction of the Investigation Panel of the CLC to the Adjudication Panel.
