LSB makes request for further advice on quality schemes

26 May 2011

The Legal Services Board has requested advice from the Legal Services Consumer Panel about voluntary quality schemes.

In November 2010 the panel provided advice to the Board on quality in legal services. The Board published a response earlier this month.

One of the panel’s recommendations was that the LSB should request further advice identifying the characteristics of robust quality schemes and measuring existing schemes against these criteria. The Board has accepted this recommendation and we will feed the advice into our broader work on quality during 2011/12.
