LSB publishes details of its research programme for 2011/12

27 June 2011

The Legal Services Board (LSB) has today published a new document setting out its priorities for research over the current year. The areas identified for evidence-gathering reflect research priorities drawn from work-streams set out last month in the 2011/12 Business Plan. The document gives a more detailed timeline for the delivery of research over the coming year, as well as setting out specific items of work which will be prioritised during the year.

Also explained in more detail is the role of the LSB’s Regulatory Information Review and how this exercise will assist in identifying research gaps. The interaction of the LSB’s research with research commissioned and planned by Approved Regulators (AR) is also made clear through the detail provided on the Board’s approach to prioritisation.
