OXERA research report sets out framework for analysing change in the legal services market

28 September 2011

Oxera has produced a report for the Legal Services Board (LSB) which provides a framework to analyse change in the legal services market. OXERA’s approach examines the market by framing the provision of legal services by the type of client, the nature of the legal problem and the category of legal services activity. This is particularly important as structural change in the market, and within firms, will create a need for greater depth of analysis.

The report identifies some gaps in data. The Board hopes that partners amongst the approved regulators, and more widely, will use the framework to help inform data collection.
